Do you remember Louis DeJoy, folks? Donald Trump hand-picked him for Postmaster General after being one of his wealthiest campaign donors.

That’s right. He’s the guy who slowed down mail delivery, cut pay for thousands of postal workers, canceled employee overtime, decommissioned mail-sorting machines, removed drop boxes, and more in the middle of a public health crisis, right before the election.

Yikes.

Here’s the real kicker: President Biden can’t directly remove him from the United States Postal Service. Either DeJoy needs to resign or Biden has to appoint a new Board of Governors to remove him.

And it’s not looking like DeJoy is planning to leave anytime soon. Just yesterday, he told Congress, “Get used to me.” So it’s on us to turn up the heat and public pressure before the postal service is reduced to rubble.

Will you sign my petition to demand DeJoy’s resignation from the postal service? We need a new Postmaster General to save the USPS from further sabotage and reverse the damage done to this critical lifeline millions of Americans depend on.

DeJoy has degraded the trust of millions of Americans and dismantled a crucial public service in the middle of a public health and economic crisis. It’s time we remove him before he can do any further damage.

The USPS has always been there for the American people, especially during times of crisis. Let’s make sure we’re here for them, too.

You can do your part by signing your name today.
