Hi,

We just found out that in the days before the winter storm, Governor Abbott knew that mass power outages could hit Texans.

Our governor failed us. He was told that Texans would not have power. He knew what Texans would be facing -- days without light or heat during one of the worst winter storms in decades.

And in response, he did nothing. Instead of putting Texans first, he sought weather advice from a fringe, Fox News, climate-denying meteorologist -- at Ted Cruz's recommendation. He left us to cope with the dark, the cold, and the terror alone.

Our governor left us to lose loved ones. He left us to freeze.

We demand Governor Abbott testify in front of the Texas Legislature tomorrow to tell Texans exactly what he knew in the days before the storm hit. Last week, Texas went through hell. We deserve answers.
