We are now a little over a week into the season of Lent. In addition to giving something up this year, I’ve created a spiritual exercise challenge for myself. Each week I’m doing a different spiritual exercise (reading through one of the Gospels, reading from the Desert Fathers, praying the Psalms, practicing Watchfulness, etc.). Even if you don’t give something up for Lent, I encourage you to prepare for Easter by practicing some kind of spiritual exercise. It will make the season of Easter that much sweeter. If there is a spiritual practice you particularly enjoy, send us a message to let us know!
