Subject: Know anyone who might be interested?

Hello,

Tomorrow, we're teaming up with Emily's List to host a virtual panel discussion celebrating the political leadership of Black sorority women. We'll be joined by Delegate Lashrecse Aird (VA-HD63), House Minority Leader Emilia Sykes (OH-HD34), and Representative Rosa Gill (NC-HD33).

From the late Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, to the historic election of Vice President Kamala Harris, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Black women have been shaping and strengthening our country for decades. We want to celebrate their leadership and also help cultivate the next generation of Black women leaders.

Are you in a sorority or know someone who might be interested? Have them join us tomorrow, February 25 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. E.T. — RSVP today »

Following the panel, there will be a brief training on how to run for office to encourage Divine Nine Sorority members to seek elected office or encourage their sisters to run. We'll see you there!

Thank you,

Aneese Johnson
