When people ask the question “What is Regenerative Food and Farming?” my usual response goes something like this:
Regenerative agriculture and animal husbandry is the next and higher stage of organic food and farming, not only free from toxic pesticides, GMOs, chemical fertilizers, and factory farm production, and therefore good for human health; but also regenerative in terms of the health of the soil, the environment, the animals, the climate, and rural livelihoods.
Or as my fellow steering committee member for Regeneration International, Vandana Shiva, puts it: “Regenerative agriculture provides answers to the soil crisis, the food crisis, the climate crisis, and the crisis of democracy.”

In June 2015, some 60 people from 21 nations—including entrepreneurs, farmers and scientists, representatives of educational institutions, policy-makers and NGOs—met in Costa Rica to form an international movement called Regeneration International.
These diverse partners came together with a commitment to a common goal: to reverse global warming and end world hunger by facilitating and accelerating the global transition to a “regenerative agriculture.”

OCA’s sister organizations in Mexico, Asociación de Consumidores Orgánicos and Vía Orgánica, have been active for over a decade in campaigns to ban GMOs and Monsanto/Bayer’s toxic pesticide glyphosate in Mexico.
We’ve provided funds and staff to successful campaigns such as Sin Maíz no Hay País, (Without Corn There is No Country), as well as a campaign working with Mayan communities and organic honey producers in the Yucatan to ban GMO soybeans.
We’ve pressured Maseca, Mexico’s largest tortilla company, to stop putting imported GMO corn into their products.
We’ve won major court battles against GMO corn and soybeans; and along with 300 other farm, environmental, indigenous, and organic organizations, we’ve been lobbying the Mexican government to ban glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup herbicides), which they recently announced would be phased out by 2024.
Now, recent documents reveal that the US government and Monsanto have made outrageous efforts to bully Mexico’s government into reversing their ban on glyphosate.

Following the same bullying strategies used by Monsanto and Bayer to stop us from informing the public about the dangers of GMO foods and toxic pesticides, we can now see that the same playbook is being used by Big Tech and Big Pharma to shape the public narratives about COVID-19 and the Great Reset.
Again, a central facet of these campaigns is to silence critics, in particular those with large online followings, including OCA, Mercola.com, Robert Kennedy Jr.’s Children’s Health Defense organization, National Vaccine Information Center, and others.
Mercola, OCA, and others have been publicly labeled a “national security threat” to the U.K. by Imran Ahmed, a member of the Steering Committee on Countering Extremism Pilot Task Force under the British government’s Commission for Countering Extremism, and the chief executive of the Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).
According to Ahmed, Mercola, OCA, and others who question the safety and necessity of a COVID-19 vaccine may be prone to violent extremism. This defamatory statement clearly has no basis in reality whatsoever. Rather, it’s part of the propaganda aimed at destroying the opposition—in this case the opposition to the technocrats driving the Great Reset agenda, which spans across social, economic and health related sectors.

Since early 2020, the world has experienced a series of catastrophic events—a global pandemic caused by a so-called novel coronavirus; international lockdowns and border closings causing widespread business closures, economic collapse, and massive unemployment; and an unprecedented curtailment of civil liberties and freedoms in the name of keeping people safe by locking them up in their homes.
We are now living in a world that is increasingly ruled, not by our democratic systems and institutions, but by public health fiat, carried out by politicians who rule by instilling fear and panic.
The good news in all of this is that we can take control of our health and that, together, we have the power to unite and fight back for our health, democracy, and freedom. The time is now for a global awakening. As Dr. Mercola and Cummins remind us, this is the fight of our lives.

It’s hard to imagine how a dry, degraded desert could be the key to reversing global warming, but a new initiative called The Billion Agave Project proposes to do just that.
The Billion Agave Project is a game-changing agroforestry and holistic livestock management system that farmers in the high-desert region of Guanajuato MX have recently developed. This strategy combines the growing of agave plants and nitrogen-fixing companion tree species (such as mesquite), with holistic rotational grazing of livestock. The result is a high-biomass, high forage-yielding system that works well even on degraded, semi-arid lands.
And on top of all of that, this agroforestry system is capable of drawing down and storing massive amounts of atmospheric CO2. In fact, one of the goals of the Billion Agave Project is to draw down and store one billion tons of climate-destabilizing CO2!
