Our elected officials owe us more than thoughts and prayers.

We Need Background Checks Now

Tell Your U.S. Rep: Introduce and Pass H.R. 8

John—

Every day in America, more than 100 people die from gun violence, and over 230 more are wounded. But the only action many politicians have taken in response to this crisis is offering their thoughts and prayers.

Our elected leaders owe us more than thoughts and prayers to prevent gun deaths; they owe us action on lifesaving legislation like H.R. 8, a bill to require background checks on all gun sales. Tell your U.S. Representative: Introduce and pass H.R. 8 immediately.

Our gun violence crisis has only gotten worse during the COVID pandemic, and it's crucial that we close the loopholes that enable guns to fall into the wrong hands. To ensure the House takes up critical gun safety legislation soon, we urgently need you to tell your U.S. Rep and House leadership to introduce H.R. 8.

Tell your U.S. Representative to introduce and pass H.R. 8 now.

John, we need more than thoughts and prayers from our members of Congress. We need action.

Thank you for being a part of this movement, and thank you for demanding action.
