I'm about to ask you to invest in our grassroots campaign -- but I'm also going to be radically honest with you as to why I'm asking with nearly two years left before Election Day:

1. We were just named a top target of the National Republican Congressional Committee -- meaning we will see a significant influx of GOP cash and lies as they try to flip this seat, and:

2. The results of the 2020 census have been delayed, so we won't see population data until the end of April, and then many more months before we have a clear picture of the future of this district under redistricting.

So we're not only a top target for Republicans, but we're also in limbo on the future of this district under redistricting -- and that means we'll have a significantly shorter timeline ahead of Election Day 2022 to prepare. An early investment helps make sure we have the funds we need to fight back against the GOP and mobilize if we have to for a redistricting scramble.
