John,

Joe Kent has experienced loss as a combat veteran and husband, losing his wife Shannon in Syria two years ago.

I sat down with Joe to talk about his experiences as an Army Special Forces veteran, the loss of his wife in combat, and why it's time to end our nation's endless wars.

Sharing Shannon's story and his own experiences fighting America's endless wars have become Joe's mission. Part of that mission is calling for an end to military engagements that don't serve our interests here at home, and demanding change in Washington.

"The best bet that we have on the grassroots level, what [CVA] is doing," Joe says "is getting people to contact their senators and congressmen and say, 'why are we still in these places?'"

We support that mission all the way. Will you?
