Hey everyone,
I wish I could reach out with better news, but unfortunately I
have something I need your help with.
GOP legislators proposed six bills on Monday to restrict voting
rights here in Wisconsin. We know that Governor Tony Evers will
veto all those bills, which raises the stakes for his re-election
in 2022. Giving Governor Evers a second term will mean he's able
to veto any voter suppression legislation that the Wisconsin GOP
*will* try to pass in 2023. Voter suppression is a key part of
their strategy to flip Wisconsin red in 2024. But we can stop
them.
Protecting democracy and keeping Wisconsin blue in 2024 starts
with re-electing Governor Evers
This is why we need your help, on this. I know
that it feels like we're preparing early, or that we're taking
these threats too seriously too far in advance -- but being
prepared is quite literally how we won this state for Joe Biden
in 2020.
We can't take that win for granted, and we can't rest on our
laurels, and it's crucial we hit our $25,000 End of Month goal
before Sunday at midnight so we can double down on our organizing
and digital efforts to re-elect Governor Evers, replace Ron
Johnson, and keep Wisconsin on a path of progress. Make a
contribution right now to help us get there →

I know that we reach out a lot, but none of the work we
did in 2020 (or any of our major wins!) would have been possible
without folks like you helping us out and committing to a better
Wisconsin.
I'm grateful to be in this fight with you, and it would mean a
lot to me if you'd contribute right now to help us hit our End of
Month goal in the wake of these six new voter suppression bills
before the deadline on Sunday at midnight.
