IHOP competitors Starbucks, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ and Denny’s are all listening to consumer demand and expanding their menus to include plant-based options. Yet breakfast giant IHOP risks falling behind as it has yet to develop a substantial vegan meal. Consumers nationwide continue choosing plant-based food options and looking for plant-based choices at their favorite restaurants. But when a chain doesn't have any substantial options, it can quickly fall out of favor.

A Museum Dedicated to Plant-Based Milk?
Yes, there is a virtual reality exhibit dedicated to plant-based milk: it's the Milk Future Museum, and it closes at the end of this month. Milk Future is all about celebrating sustainable and cruelty-free non-dairy options while showcasing the irresistible plant-based cheeses, ice creams and chocolates that now exist.
