State House Minority Leader Emily Virgin joined ODP Executive Director Scott Hamilton on the Hamilton Report this week. 1. Jobs & The Economy

Increase the minimum wage.

Restore the Earned Income Tax Credit.

End predatory lending practices and institute tax equity.

2. Education

Keep public dollars in public schools.

Recruit and retain great teachers for every classroom.

Increase charter oversight.

3. Criminal Justice Reform

End debtors' prisons and create a justice system that focuses on rehabilitation.

Stop dangerous policing practices and end the cash bail system.

Reform mandatory minimum sentences.

4. Healthcare for All

Create a nurse retention program.

Eliminate Oklahoma's food deserts.

Increase funding for mental health, substance use prevention, and treatment services.
