International Women's Day
ANNOUNCEMENT: Dame Heather Rabbats, business leader and former FA director will be joining us to share her insights on the achievements of women in business.
Join us, Monday 8 March at 5pm to hear from an amazing line up of powerful women who are leading the way in politics, business, activism and journalism. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from and celebrate the achievements of women in power and for them to share their journeys to leadership. More speakers to be announced very soon.

Gender Pay Gap Reporting
Since we asked for your supporting in making the enforcement of gender pay gap reporting mandatory, we have seen the announcement that reporting will once again be required. It's good news and means that in six months, large business will once again have to report on their gender pay gap. But six months is a long time to wait when we know the impact the pandemic has already had on women and work. That's why we are going to ensure we keep campaigning to make women visible at all levels of decision making as we respond to the pandemic.

West Midlands Hustings
Next Friday West Midland's Women's Voice are hosting a hustings for International Women's Day. All the West Midland Mayoral candidates will be present so it's one not to miss - sign up now.
Last week we also launched the West Midlands Women and Girls Manifesto, which calls for mayoral candidates to commit to gender equality, improving the lives of all women and girls in the region and ensuring women are represented at the recovery decision-making table. We partnered with West Midlands Women’s Voice, Fawcett West Midlands, Homeless Period Wolverhampton, Anawim: Birmingham's Centre for Women, and Women and Theatre to produce the manifesto.

Equal Pay
On Monday, 1 March we have a great opportunity for employers to learn more about the practical steps they can take to build equality in the workplace. Our Interim CEO Felicia Willow will join Dianne Greyson, founder of Equilibrium Mediation Consulting and the #EthnicityPayGap, and Jemima Lovatt from Thrive CIC to host a practical workshop on equality in the workplace.
