Hey there -- can I tell you a little bit more about myself?
I grew up just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. I still cheer for the Duke Blue Devils, debate the merits of Eastern Carolina BBQ vs Western, and sing along loudly to “Sweet Caroline” whenever it comes on the radio.
This week, the United States surpassed 500,000 deaths due to the outbreak of COVID-19 -- enough to wipe Raleigh’s population of ~483k out, and then some.
It didn’t have to be this way -- and there are Americans in Raleigh and across the country right now who have been hit by COVID in so many ways, desperate for help. We can’t keep letting Americans go without necessary aid.
Call your senators and demand they pass REAL relief for COVID-19 right now:

A year ago, those 500,000 folks were with us. They were with their families, in their hometowns, cheering for their home teams, singing along to the radio, just like me.
Americans need full relief that matches the gravity of this moment immediately. Anything less is simply not good enough.
Please -- help me fight for all of our hometowns by calling your senators immediately.

Thanks for fighting alongside me.
