About $15
million has been spent by Democratic presidential candidates on TV ads
since this primary began.
One candidate -- billionaire hedge fund manager Tom Steyer -- has spent
the overwhelming majority of that:
$12 million from one candidate alone. Think about that: 80% of the TV ads
in this race have come from one candidate trying to buy this primary.
On top of that, Steyer has reportedly been spending more than $100,000 per
day on Facebook advertising.
Here’s the truth: we
cannot afford to be massively outspent and outraised in this election. I
know we have the right strategy to win this election, but we need your
help to do it. Can Kamala and our team count on you to donate before
tomorrow’s FEC deadline?

The ground is shifting quickly in this election. We have one of the
strongest grassroots organizations in the early states, and that’s how we
intend to overcome candidates who started out with tens of millions in the
bank already or have vast personal fortunes to spend.
Thank you for being a part of this team, and for stepping up today to help
our campaign catch up and win.
