John,

Even with a remote legislative session happening this year it is critical that legislators feel the grassroots energy around environmental issues.

And at WCV we are trying to build momentum by getting as many Washingtonians as we can to contact their legislators.

When we say your membership goes to work right away it isn’t a figure a speech. Your contribution means we can make more calls, support more volunteers, and have a bigger impact during legislative session.

Become a member now for $5 or more, and your membership will be matched. It will go to work right away to help build grassroots energy for the environment this year. [[link removed]]

That is why we helped organize Environmental Lobby Days earlier this month and why we are training as many as people as possible on the best ways to contact their legislators. We do it so that more people in our state are using their voice to raise up the issues we all care about.

During Environmental Lobby Days hundreds of activists from all over the state took action on important issues like a Clean Fuel Standard, the HEAL Act, and much more. We were able to have over 70 virtual meetings with elected officials to make sure they know the environment is on Washingtonians minds.

But there are still weeks left of legislative session and we need to keep driving actions that will create positive change for our environment and communities.

There are many pressing issues facing the Legislature this year and with your help we want to make sure that the environment stays at the top of their agenda.

Your membership contribution of $5 or more will support our efforts to move forward progress on the environment during legislative session. [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Kat
