Yesterday the Texas Tribune reported that more than 1.4 million Texans are without running water. Texans across the state are relying on support from local food banks to get the water and food they need to survive. People First is supporting Feeding Texas as they distribute millions of pounds of water. Can you help cover the cost of a case of water?
The water crisis in Texas is disproportionately hurting low-income, elderly, and marginalized communities. Apartment buildings are struggling to repair burst pipes, and tenants are relying on the goodwill of food banks and volunteers to put food on their tables and clean water in their homes.
People First Future has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support food banks, but they still need our help. With your contribution, a family in Texas could get the food and water they need from Feeding Texas -- can you help pitch in?
