Upcoming Event:

With President Joe Biden taking office January 20, 2021, there has been much anticipation that the new administration will make immigration reform a top priority. However, with Congress remaining closely divided, there are many unknowns as to what would be legislatively possible during the next two to four years. On March 1, from 2–3:15 p.m. ET, the Bipartisan Policy Center will host a panel discussion that takes a deep dive look at three possible “easy” areas for bipartisan immigration legislation in 2021: DACA, farmworkers, and essential workers. Moderated by BPC’s own Theresa Cardinal Brown, this event will specifically focus on identifying the avenues for quick legislative action on immigration, as well as how Congress can thread the needle of passing these critical reforms.
