Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to block the Equality Act today that's designed to protect LGBTQ people, calling it "disgusting, immoral, and evil."

So progressive Congresswoman Marie Newman (IL-03) -- who has a transgender daughter and whose office is right across the hall -- put up a transgender flag so Greene "can look at it every time she opens her door."

PCCC members helped Marie Newman defeat an anti-LGBTQ incumbent in 2020.
