After Donald Trump directly incited the violence at the Capitol that killed 6 Americans, Facebook FINALLY banned him from the platform.
But Bill Gates, the target of several unhinged conspiracy theories himself, disagrees. “I think he probably should be allowed back on,” the billionaire Microsoft mogul told CNBC in an interview. Gates even pledged to personally call Mark Zuckerberg to make it happen -- all while, as Vanity Fair reports, Trump is “begging” to be let back onto the platform to do even more damage.
He might get his way, too. Facebook decision-makers are meeting at the end of the month to decide if they should re-platform the most dangerous man in American history. If that happens, we WILL see more far-right violence, more of our neighbors radicalized, and more innocent people dead as a result.
