Today is the last chance to have your donation TRIPLED!

Dear Friend,

This month Democracy Now! has been celebrating our 25th anniversary—that's 25 years of bringing you news you won't hear anywhere else.

But we didn't get here on our own. Every step of the way, we've relied on you, our global audience of listeners, viewers and readers. And we still do.

Can we count on you to donate $25 or more to Democracy Now! right now, in honor of our 25th anniversary?

This is the last chance to have your donation TRIPLE MATCHED during our anniversary month. Make your tax-deductible donation today and it'll go THREE TIMES as far for Democracy Now!

DONATE TODAY & TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT!
This means that when you donate $25 today for our 25th anniversary, your gift will be worth $75 to Democracy Now!

Triple match your $25 donation!
Triple match your $75 donation!
Triple match your $150 donation!
Triple match your $500 donation!
Triple match your $2,000 donation!
This is a challenging time for us all. If you've been impacted financially and can't give today, that's OK. I hope you'll keep tuning in. But if you're able to make a donation, you'll help keep Democracy Now! on the air for everyone.
Since our earliest days on the airwaves, Democracy Now! has reported on global heating and its impact on the planet, covering everything from the 1997 climate summit in Kyoto, Japan to countless climate protests and actions to today's push for the Green New Deal.
This week, we spoke to renowned author and activist Naomi Klein about the severe winter storm that devastated energy and water systems in Texas.

In the wake of the storm, over four million Texans were without power. Around 70 deaths have now been linked to the winter storms in Texas, Tennessee and other states, including at least 12 people who died inside their homes after losing heat.
Your donation today will go 3x as far!
“The Green New Deal is a plan that could solve so many of Texas’s problems and the problems across the country, and Republicans have absolutely nothing to offer except for more deregulation, more privatization, more austerity,” Klein said.
Help us continue covering the climate crisis, and so much more. Make your gift to support Democracy Now! today.

We also interviewed Texas resident Akilah Scott-Amos. She was one of the lucky ones. Her electricity stayed on. But then she saw her electricity bill jump to over $11,000 in just a few days. Skyrocketing electric bills are a result of the state’s years-long push to deregulate its energy market.
Give today & triple your impact!
“I have no problems with paying my fair share. But this is not fair,” asserted Scott-Amos.
If you think it's essential for the media to hold corporate power accountable, make your donation to Democracy Now! today.

DONATE TODAY & TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT!
As Democracy Now! marks 25 years on the air, we're revisiting some of the best and most impactful moments from our history, including one of the last television interviews given by the visionary Black science-fiction writer Octavia Butler.

Butler was the first Black woman to win Hugo and Nebula awards for science-fiction writing and the first science-fiction writer to receive a MacArthur “genius” fellowship. Her work inspired a new generation of Black science-fiction writers, and she has been called “the Mother of Afrofuturism.”

When asked how she set out to become a science-fiction writer when there were so few examples of Black women working in the genre, Butler said she never doubted her abilities.
Your gift today will be tripled!
“I assumed that I could do it,” she said. “I wasn’t being brave or even thoughtful. I wanted it.”
Democracy Now! goes beyond the headlines, getting right to the heart of every story. Support our in-depth interviews with the artists, authors, scholars and scientists whose voices you won't hear anywhere else by making your donation today.

DONATE TODAY & TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT!
Democracy Now! has always refused to take government or corporate funding, because nothing is more important to us than our editorial independence. Nothing is more important to us than telling you the truth.

But that means we rely on you, our audience, for support.
Please make your donation today!

With your support, Democracy Now! is training the next generation of independent journalists through our internship and fellowship programs. Our education program—which has gone virtual because of the pandemic—teaches hundreds of students about fearless, truth-seeking journalism in this time of disinformation and lies.

All of this is only possible with your financial support.
