In the middle of the worst energy and weather crisis Texas has faced in decades, Sen. Ted Cruz flew to Mexico on vacation. Texas AG Ken Paxton flew to Utah mid-crisis for a trip unrelated to the storm. And Gov. Greg Abbott went on Fox News and blamed wind turbines for his own failures.

Texas deserves better. We deserve leaders who believe in government and want to actually help people, rather than helping themselves. Team, this crisis has made clear that we need new energy and leadership in Texas. The good thing is, across the state we have critical races up-and-down the ballot in 2021 and 2022.

People First Future is working to identify, recruit, and support great candidates from city halls to the halls of Congress. Thanks to you, People First helped elect some fantastic leaders in November, many of whom are already doing great things in office. Now, we're asking for your help to elect mayors, city councilmembers, school board members, and others leaders who will fight for Texans, instead of abandoning them in their time of need.
