"Every community needs a group of angelic troublemakers" ‑Bayard Rustin, Organizer of the 1963 March on Washington
John,
Every year our campaign funds a program called Democracy Summer.
Will you help us out?
Democracy Summer has mobilized more than 1,000 college and high school students to become state-of-the-art political activists and leaders. When we weren’t indoors training and studying politics, Democracy Summer has been mostly a grassroots outdoor program, focused on canvassing and door-knocking, traveling to neighboring states to help in swing districts, conducting rallies and barbecues, constant outreach to the people.

Through robust campaign contributions and huge numbers of boots on the ground, we made a powerful difference in the election of Congressional candidates throughout the Mid-Atlantic: people like Reps. Madeleine Dean, Conor Lamb and Mary Gay Scanlon in Pennsylvania, Reps. Jennifer Wexton and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia, and Rep. Lucy McBath in Georgia.
Our hundreds of Democracy Summer Fellows played a serious role in helping win back the House of Representatives in 2018 — and I got elected to the House Democratic Leadership because of the respect and appreciation my colleagues had for Democracy Summer.
Please donate today to help us expand our Democracy Summer program to train more young activists to defeat the Republicans who refuse to defend our Constitution and our people >>

Thank you — With solidarity and gratitude,
Jamie Raskin
