Remember to join InSight Crime tomorrow, Thursday, February 25, for our event on Paraguay’s cross-border criminal dynamics. 

In this third event as part of our six-part cross-border series, InSight Crime Co-director Steven Dudley, senior researcher and project manager Ángela Olaya, and investigator Carlos Peris will provide analysis on criminal dynamics in Paraguay, as well as its role as a major link in the regional drug trafficking chain and how the country facilitates the activities of transnational criminal groups in the Southern Cone. They will also discuss our in-depth investigation, in which InSight Crime analyzed the relationship between politicians and drug traffickers, as well as the region’s complex power dynamics.
    
The discussion will be moderated by Juan Alberto Martens, a researcher and expert in criminology and criminal policy at the National University of Pilar (UNP).
