“House majority may hinge on the Rio Grande Valley”
-- Politico
John,
This’ll be a short email, but it’s an important one!
- As the Politico headline makes abundantly clear, the Democratic House majority is razor-thin right now -- and whether or not we lose the chamber in 2022 will largely depend on congressional races in places like Texas.
- Latinx voters in Texas and other battleground states will play an outsized role in preserving our House majority. In the Rio Grande Valley alone, there are estimated to be over 45,000 young unregistered Latinx voters.
- In the 2020 cycle, we registered 263,581 Latinx voters in Texas alone. We need to beat that number before the 2022 midterms. Can you donate ASAP?
