You voted for Democrats in November, and we immediately got to work for Mainers. The 130th Legislative Session is still young, but the Democratic majority has already made LD 1 - An Act To Establish the COVID-19 Patient Bill of Rights, its top legislative priority.

The COVID-19 Patient Bill of Rights includes several key measures, including things like:

• Waiving all copayments associated with testing and vaccinations;
• Authorizing health care providers with prescriptive authority to fill prescriptions for up to 180 days during a state of emergency; and
• Authorizing delivery of health care services through telehealth by audio-only telephone, rather than video -- a big deal to those who may not have access to high-speed internet.
