In less than 36 hours, our Senator, John Cornyn, must close the books on this quarter’s fundraising, and unless something changes quick, he could miss his goal.

Let me take a minute to explain why that would be disastrous.

First, numerous Democrat challengers have already thrown their hats into the ring, so this End-Of-Quarter reporting serves as a test for them on how they compare with Cornyn’s fundraising.

Second, turning Texas Blue has become every Democrat presidential candidate’s favorite heartfelt goal. Friend, so if Sen Cornyn misses this quarter’s target and posts a poor number, Democrats will double down on their efforts to flip Texas. Money will pour in to defeat him.

We can’t let that happen.
