Tomorrow Congress will vote on the Equality Act… another example of something that sounds good, but will be devastating in reality.

The Equality Act isn’t about preventing discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community—it’s about eliminating women as a legally distinct category.

This misnamed bill redefines “sex” under our federal civil rights laws to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” jeopardizing women’s opportunities, safety, and advancement.

The Equality Act does little in the way of securing equality. The Equality Act prioritizes transgender people over women.

Yet again, another attack from the Left on women… This is the true “war on women.”

By erasing sex as a distinct legal category, the measure threatens to open up female-only spaces and opportunities designed to increase representation for girls to biological men, which can endanger the safety of women and girls.

The Equality Act would threaten the existence of women’s prisons, public-school girls’ locker rooms, and female’ sports teams.
