“China plague” and “kung flu” were just some of the vulgar and racist phrases we heard Donald Trump and his loyalists throw around this past year -- and we're seeing firsthand the dire consequences that their xenophobic rhetoric has caused.
There's been a disturbing spike in racially-based attacks towards Asian Americans -- over 3,000 cases of anti-Asian hate crimes have been reported since last February alone, and those are just the ones that we know about.
Asian Americans shouldn't have to fear for their lives because of the vile actions of our government representatives. Unfortunately, Trump and his remaining GOP-loyalists show no signs of stopping their fueling the flames of white supremacy, even if it means putting innocent lives in danger.
We're ready to rid our country of these racist and white supremacy-enabling representatives, and we're even more prepared to elect a more progressive government that reflects our diverse country, but we need to know our supporters are behind us:
