On behalf of the U.S. Civil Society Working Group for Women, Peace, and Security (U.S. CSWG), we would like to invite you to participate in a live, public Twitter chat utilizing the U.S. CSWG hashtag #WomenAdvancePeace on March 2, 2021 from 1:00 - 1:45 PM ET.
A Twitter chat is a structured discussion where one user poses questions via Tweet and invites others to reply, with the goal of raising awareness of a topic and hashtag.
For Women’s History Month 2021, the U.S. CSWG will convene government officials, thought leaders, practitioners, and students in the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) field on Twitter to discuss how the pandemic has affected WPS work and what we can learn from peacebuilders past and present to help solve the unique challenges of this era.
To follow and participate in the conversation, head to U.S. CSWG’s Twitter page (@US_CSWG) or #WomenAdvancePeace and sort by “latest.” For tweets to be archived in the conversation, each one must include “#WomenAdvancePeace”.
