Yesterday, more than 575 generous Mercy Corps supporters
gave to our 24-Hour Challenge — including some who are experiencing the
aftermath of record-breaking winter storms in their own communities. We
appreciate your compassion to help refugees, displaced families and
vulnerable people around the world who are also facing extreme weather,
recovering from disasters or struggling to feed their families.
If you haven’t made your first-time gift yet, it’s not
too late: We’re extending the deadline to meet our goal for one more day!

When you make a gift, you can help us have twice the impact thanks to a
generous group of Mercy Corps supporters who have contributed to our
Matching Gift Challenge Fund to encourage people like you to match their
gifts, up to $70,000.
[ [link removed] ]Make your gift by midnight tonight and help us go twice as far for
people determined to keep themselves and their families safe and healthy.
Here are just a few examples of how your gift could help:

Syrians’ suffering and threatening their health. Mercy Corps is [ Syria ]Syria
reaching people with lifesaving support, including food,
blankets, shelter, clean water and hygiene supplies.
Â
In Indonesia, torrential rains displaced hundreds of
thousands of people from their homes, destroying wells or
[ Indoneisa ]Indoneisa inundating them with muddy, unsafe water. Mercy Corps helps
people access this most basic necessity — clean water — to
use for cooking, cleaning, bathing and drinking.
Â

focused on emergency assistance and COVID‑19 prevention, to [ Yemen ]Yemen
relieve the intense suffering of people caught in the crossfire
of war and a hunger crisis.
