As reported by the AJC, CNN and other reputable news outlets, Georgia lawmakers who have pledged their allegiance to the Seditionist Party — those who tried to subvert the will of the American people after the election and on January 6th — are already introducing bills that would suppress Black voters' right to the vote. Sadly, they are expected to fly through the Georgia General Assembly and gain approval this year.

Civil rights and election law attorneys are already being deployed to fight back against this blatant attempt to handicap the Black vote, but friend, this is why we MUST fight to flip the Georgia General Assembly and get rid of these bigoted lawmakers who support racist, exclusionary measures. Flipping the General Assembly is our most urgent mission in the coming years, and there are brave Democrats willing to step up to the challenge — but they need our support.

In 2020, it was the vote of rural Black and youth voters that uplifted President Biden and won Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock their Senate seats. it only speaks to a lack of resources for rural Democrats that so many rural areas are still represented by racist Seditionist Party members who peddle The Big Lie for their own gain.

The Georgia Blue Project has the strategy that these rural Democratic candidates need to win their elections. Our digital and paid advertisement strategy was a pivotal part of reaching rural black and youth voters in November and in January.
