This is what happens when Congress doesn’t hold Trump accountable.
Axios, The Guardian, and other media outlets are reporting some frightening news: Trump will say he’s the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee for president in front of a gathering of prominent Republicans this Sunday. Republicans are inviting someone who incited a deadly insurrection to speak at one of their biggest annual events. It’s not exactly a surprise after 43 Republican Senators voted to acquit Trump, despite overwhelming evidence of his involvement in the deadliest and most destructive attack on the Capitol since the War of 1812.
Pramila led the calls to impeach Trump right after the attack and urged the Senate to convict him. She did it to protect our democracy and to prevent Trump from running for president again. Now, she’s leading in Congress on an ambitious, transformative policy agenda — including survival checks and a $15 minimum wage — so that Democrats can deliver for working people and beat Trump or whoever Republicans nominate in 2024.
If we don’t pass strong progressive policies right now, we may lose our chance and we may give Trump more momentum for a dangerous run in 2024. Can you contribute to Pramila’s campaign today as she tirelessly advocates for a progressive policy agenda that will make a real difference in people’s lives?

Delivering for voters is one of the biggest ways we can counter a potential Trump resurgence. Voters want Medicare for All. Voters want bold action to stop the climate crisis and to enact humane immigration reform. Voters want to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, cancel student loan debt, and immediately secure an expansive COVID relief package that includes survival checks and a path to getting everyone vaccinated.
Pramila has been leading on all of these issues, and she will continue to — in order to help the working people of this country and deliver for everyone. Chip in to help Pramila make this policy agenda a reality and help us stop Trump from even thinking about running in 2024.
