The latest from CTP Donate Today Representative Lauren Boebert replies to gun safety concerns on Twitter Another Week, Another Red Flag Locked and Loaded- Rep. Boebert's Unsafe Gun Storage In a series of unhinged tweets, Representative Boebert proudly displays firearms that are, by her words, "ready for use." With a platform as large as hers, we must demand from her what we ask of our neighbors: store all firearms in a safe and secure location. As a mother of four and an elected official, the example Representative Boebert is setting is a dangerous and reckless one. Unsafe firearm storage is no laughing matter. While not in use, a firearm is not safe unless it's unloaded and secure inside a safe. Putting a loaded firearm on display for all to see is a reckless act that demands condemnation. We must work tirelessly until 2022 to push her out of office and restore the reputation of CO congressional representatives before too much harm is done. Lavish Fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago This past Saturday, Republicans Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz (FL-01) traveled to former President Donald Trump's Palm Beach resort Mar-a-Lago to attend a VIP fundraising event. The VIP dinner, which cost $10,600 per couple, was organized to support Utah Senator Mike Lee's 2022 reelection campaign. Lavish meals with big dollar donors seem to be a higher priority for Representative Boebert than providing aid to struggling Coloradans. The Colorado Turnout Project is a coalition of pissed off students, activists, veterans, and Coloradans from all walks of life who are fed up with the Colorado House Republican delegation’s complicity in our nation's venomous political atmosphere. We cannot allow Congresswoman Boebert, Congressman Buck, and Congressman Lamborn to remain in office and radicalize even more vulnerable Coloradans. The time to stand up is now.
