Friend --

My opponent, MAGA Republican Devin Nunes, is taking a page from Trump and viciously attacking journalists and our First Amendment.

He launched a lawsuit against news networks who he thinks were mean to him. Seriously?!

It's almost as absurd as, say, suing a fake cow on Twitter -- oh wait. He did that too!

To Nunes, the First Amendment -- freedom of the press -- doesn't apply to the journalists covering him.

Look, media scrutiny is part of being in public office. Journalists have the freedom to inform the public of your actions as a representative, good or bad. It's a foundational element to our Democracy that must be protected.

But instead of doing his sworn duty to serve his constituents, Devin serves only his own self-image.

Devin Nunes is playing a dangerous game trying to undermine one of the bedrock institutions of our Democracy. PLEASE: we need 15,000 signatures to tell Devin Nunes to STOP attacking the First Amendment. Will you add your name before midnight? >> [link removed]
