Polar bears are living examples of the devastating effects of climate change.

As climate activists, we've always had a soft spot for these lumbering giants in peril. So every year, to commemorate International Polar Bear Day on February 27, we spend a full week showing polar bears some love.

This year, we're starting off with a collection of adorable, breathtaking, and poignant photos of polar bears, paired with facts about the bears you may not have known.

Looking at these photos, you’ll be reminded of what you’re fighting for when you fight for climate action.
