We went from a president who sang Amazing Grace to one who displays zero of it.

It seems like, by the hour, we are drinking from a firehose of insult and assault — each policy more draconian, more oppressive, more life threatening, more family separating than the next.

Just this week, the Trump administration announced that it would be cutting our refugee settlement program by nearly half, even though there are communities across the country who welcome refugees with open arms. Recommitting ourselves to the fight for justice and equality is now more important than ever. We cannot afford to lose sight of what our movement is fighting for.

This is truly a crossroads for our country. We must all actively choose to keep advocating, organizing, and legislating to overcome the hatred and white nationalism spewing from the occupant of the White House.
