Things are heating up in this Senate race, John --

The last three public polls show Cal Cunningham leading Republican Thom Tillis by just a few points.

Virtually every poll out of North Carolina shows Tillis having a low approval rating -- the last one has him at just 27%.

Cook Political Report just upgraded our race -- and Tillis just announced plans to spend more than half of his cash-on-hand on TV ads because he’s at risk of losing his own primary.
