Friend,
When violence broke out last year in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, our dedicated staff traveled over 1,000 kilometers from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to provide medical care where it was needed most. Here’s how the support of our recurring donors helped us respond as quickly as possible.
The support of this global community helped equip our teams around the world with the resources they needed to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic while continuing to provide rapid emergency aid to communities in crisis. As our health care workers in Tigray have seen, the aid we deliver is just as crucial now as it’s ever been. In 2021, we’ll continue our work to slow the spread of COVID-19 and advocate for equitable access to vaccines. It’s shaping up to be one of our most challenging years ever, so if you were waiting for the right moment to make your first gift to MSF, there’s never been a better time than now.
This email was sent from the U.S. section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
