Manassas – Republican House of Delegates Candidate Jeff Dove today announced the endorsement of Former Delegate Tim Hugo in the race for Virginia’s 51st district.

“We cannot be happy with being middle of the pack or the bottom half as it relates to our economic recovery or our kids’ education. Virginia needs a change in the mentality that exists in Richmond that leading from behind is acceptable.” Dove said.

Dove continues to advocate for Virginia Excellence. His campaign is focused on getting the Virginia economy moving again after Covid-19 by supporting small businesses and opening our schools immediately just as the science says we should.

“Thanks to the support of people like Delegate Hugo we are building more and more momentum to take this seat back and ensure that Virginia continues on a path to excellence” Dove said.

“I know firsthand the kind of personality it takes to be successful in Richmond and get the job done for your constituents,” Hugo said. “Jeff Dove is the right man for the job. He’s a man who has proven time and again that he has strong values to guide his decision making and he is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. Jeff’s campaign is all about restoring excellence to Richmond and I know that he will work to ensure that Virginia is a national leader once again.”

Former Delegate Hugo who is currently seeking the GOP nomination for Lt. Governor took some time from campaigning around the Commonwealth to show support for Jeff Dove’s race for delegate.
