I hope you're keeping well.

It's a year since most of us first heard of Covid-19... and few of us expected then that we would find ourselves where we are now in 2021.

One year on, NYCI wants to again invite youth workers into a shared reflective space to hear about

  • the current challenges you face in your work with young people
  • the lessons you have learnt over the last year and
  • how NYCI might be able to support you moving forward in 2021.

It has been heartening to see the response of the youth work sector - and recognition of youth work as an essential service over the past year.

But this has not been without challenges for you and the young people you support.

So as part of our work to support you, we have designed these sessions to create a youth work discussion space on how you are managing, what challenges you and young people are experiencing - and to see what supports NYCI may be able to offer.

There will be five sessions, taking place between February 26th and March 10th. 

They are limited to 15 attendees at each to ensure meaningful participation for all, so I do hope you can attend one of them.
