News broke yesterday that the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) outraised the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in January. This matters for a lot of reasons, friend.
One: History shows us that the House majority is most vulnerable in midterm elections like 2022, meaning any fundraising edge National Republicans can secure in the coming months will put us at an even bigger disadvantage.
Two: The NRCC outraised us AFTER the deadly Capitol insurrection. That means even when several corporate donors cut off donations to House Republicans, the NRCC still raised more than Democrats.
