John -- It's my job to make sure that Gretchen Whitmer's grassroots operation and re-election campaign meets the fundraising goals needed to pass her ambitious agenda, to make sure Michigan turns blue in 2020, and to make sure we are preparing for our re-election campaign.

But in just a few hours I have a meeting with Gretchen to check in on our campaign's upcoming quarterly fundraising deadline.

And right now, we're nearly 70 donors short of our grassroots donor goal.
