help right now. 

The situation is constantly evolving, but one thing is certain: Your work
has not gone unnoticed. RepresentUs members have sent over 15,000 messages
to Congress — and in response, 223 Representatives have come out in
support of the Act. 

But now we’ve reached a critical moment — Speaker Nancy Pelosi and
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer have to bring this bill up for a vote to get
the For the People Act passed. [ [link removed] ]That’s why it's so crucial that you send
a message to Rep. Pelosi and Rep. Hoyer immediately urging them to bring
the For the People Act to the floor right now.

Here’s a snapshot of the impact you’ve already had and what we expect for
the fight ahead:

* With the impeachment trial behind us, lawmakers are beginning to game
out what to prioritize for the next two years, including how we fix
our broken political system.
* House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is now considering taking up the For
the People Act in the coming month.^1 That means now is the time to
pressure him to bring this bill up for a vote — and the need for
action has never been more urgent.
* 223 House Members have co-sponsored the bill, including 4 new
supporters in the last week. ^2  The For the People Act is gaining
steam at an important moment and this is the time to keep our foot on
the gas.
* 67% of Americans support the For the People Act. The critical reforms
within the bill are popular across party lines.^3

Passing this bill relies on voters putting overwhelming pressure on House
leadership to act. If Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Hoyer know that
the American people are behind the For the People Act, they’ll have no
choice but to bring it to a vote.
