After my race for governor in 2018, I was faced with two options: I could sit on the sidelines, lick my wounds, and complain about Trump and his allies. Or I could get to work.

I'm emailing you today asking you to support the DNC precisely because I chose that second option. I've spent the past few months fighting for voting rights in my home state of Florida and working as hard as I can to elect a Democrat to the White House. Now more than ever, I need you in this fight with me, John.

This election is a lot bigger than any single one of us. It's bigger than me, you, and even our eventual nominee for president. What this team does between now and November 3, 2020 will determine the direction of our country for our next generation, and we have to build a strong DNC right now, when it matters most. That's why I've gotta ask:
