Dear John,

Last week, I did something which made the Brexiteers’ blood boil. I took my seat in Strasbourg as a new MEP for London.

It was one of the proudest moments of my life.

This weekend, I’m going to join with thousands of others who are as proudly and unapologetically European as me, and together we’re going to demand real change for Britain.

Will you join me this Saturday to say yes to Europe?

Don’t get me wrong. When people in this country voted for change, they were right.

But we need to offer people real change, not the snake oil of Brexit Party MEPs who turned up to pull a stupid stunt, collected their money, then went to the pub.

We must offer something different.

• An end to the inequality which has torn our country in two.
• An end to an economic model which is choking our oceans, our air, our countryside and our climate.
• An end to the status quo which has driven people and planet to the brink of disaster.

Together, I want to make every single person in this country feel what I felt last week: hope.

Join me this Saturday, and let’s March for Change.
