2022 midterms that perfectly encapsulates why the work Truth to Power does

“In almost every midterm election since World War II, the incumbent’s party lost

The bad news: Historically speaking, the odds of us maintaining our
majority in the House and Senate are not in our favor.

Thanks to this team, we were able to send six powerful Truth to Power
candidates to join me in Washington during our first election cycle. We
proved that candidates who unapologetically stand for working families and
progressive values can win elections, many times over.

And, John, there’s no shortage
of work for us to do. We need to start restoring people’s trust in our
government. We need to clean up the corruption in our political system,
listen to our scientists to safely solve COVID-19, make quality healthcare
available to everyone in our country, take immediate action to save our
planet, prevent greedy corporations from exploiting our communities, and
so much more.

The list goes on. And try as we may, history shows it’s likely we won’t be
able to solve all of our problems in this current Congress. That’s why we
need to build the framework for a strong 2022 election—so we can continue
the fights of our generation.

We need to make sure the fight can continue beyond this Congress, long
