Exciting news, John!

At 3:00 PM EST on March 2nd, there’s a #DayofEmpathy happening in District of Columbia. Hosted by Tony Lewis, Jr., this event is going to uplift the voices of those closest to the problems facing our criminal legal system and lift up lasting solutions for change. Can we count on you to join us then?

District of Columbia Day of Empathy will bring together experts on both sides of the system – those writing and enforcing the laws, and those impacted by them – in the hopes of building consensus to make our communities thrive.

The theme of this national day of action is PEOPLE + POWER + POLICY because we know that when people come together to share their stories and organize, we can change the conversation, and more importantly, pass urgent legislation in states like District of Columbia.

You don’t have to take my word for it; there are change-makers right in your own backyard who have spent years fighting for change.

Will you join them, Tuesday, March 2nd?

I know I’ll be there,

– Janos Marton and The Dream Corps JUSTICE Team

P.S. Be sure to also check out our special #DayofEmpathy programming on Black Greek Letter Organizations’ efforts to address the criminal justice system and our Faith Leaders event!
