John,
Late last week, we asked folks to chip in and send what they can to
provide immediate relief to Texans who were hit hard by freezing
temperatures, power outages, and failing infrastructure.
Many of you answered the call, and we were able to send over $8,500 to
three organizations doing on-the-ground work — incredible! And today, we
know that we can build on this momentum to cross the $10,000 mark today
and provide even more support for Texans in need.
[ [link removed] ]Will you split a $16 donation between 16 food banks across the state as
folks begin the road to recovery? 100% of your contribution will go
directly to sending relief to Texans all across the state.

Temperatures in Texas are finally getting warmer and many areas are
regaining power. But now, millions face a grueling road to recovery as
they deal with the aftermath of last week's storm, particularly in Black
and brown communities, which were disproportionately affected by blackouts
and burst pipes.
According to the Insurance Council of Texas, last week's storm is
estimated to cost upward of $20 billion — the costliest in Texas state
history. It's likely that some communities won't have reliable access to
clean drinking water for weeks, and low-income and communities of color
will continue to bear the brunt of this crisis.
[ [link removed] ]Millions of Texas families are still in need of immediate relief. Let's
continue to rally together behind the needs of folks all across the state.
Chip in $16 and support Texas food banks as they get food and water to the
people who need it the most.
Thanks for all that you do,
John, and for making this
possible.
In solidarity,
Team Bowman
