Dear John,
I’ll be fully transparent, when we decided to set this big goal, I was a little intimidated.
But, I think we can do it if we work together. To meet our ambitious $47,363.14 goal for the March 11 public filing deadline, we have to raise approximately $20,000 by February 28.
Can you chip in $5 today to keep us on track? [[link removed]]
One thing I’ve learned from working with Brad is that nothing is impossible with people-power behind us. Whether it is working to win a fair work week, demand safer streets, or to integrate our schools, grassroots organizing is the best (and often the only) way to win transformative change.
Our campaign has taken that approach to fundraising too – we’ve had more than 200 people join our grassroots fundraising team in recent months to help raise small dollar contributions from friends and family. People-power is what got us here, within striking distance of our campaign’s multi-million dollar budget.
But we need people to step us now to help close the gap towards our goal. Can you give $5 now to help us close out this month strong? [[link removed]]
It takes a lot of people and a lot of resources to run a citywide campaign to reach millions of New Yorkers. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
Thank you,
MaryKatherine
