 Friend, We’ve always heard the old liberal saying “never let a good crisis go to waste,” right? In just a few short months, liberals in Washington have taken the abhorrent January 6th riot at the Capitol and turned it into a political weapon to further divide America. Instead of focusing on COVID-19 relief, economic recovery, and getting America back on track, the liberal majority has chosen impeachment, partisan rhetoric, and self-righteous lectures. They’ve chosen partisan games over the American people. With their hyper-partisan chatter at an all-time high, it might seem impossible to overcome. But Friend, we’ve overcome bigger obstacles. And we WILL overcome this together, because Americans deserve better than the same old Washington as usual. Everyone — national Democrats, pollsters, my opponent — thought we were going to lose. But we did it. We won! We took them all on, and we turned my district red on Election Day and took a critical seat away from Nancy Pelosi. Sure, I might just be a first-term representative from South Carolina, but I am living proof that we can do the impossible. We flipped a crucial House district from red to blue — and that was only the beginning. I’m over the partisan agendas, and I’m ready to get to work for the American people. JOIN NANCY NOW >> In my short time in Washington, I’ve made that clear. That’s part of the reason why the mainstream media, the “Squad” and the old, establishment liberals are all after me! Instead of getting results for the people, they’re focused on tearing me down because I threaten the status quo that they know and love. I joined Fox News to discuss what it was like to be under fire by the left and what I’m doing to challenge politics as usual in Congress.  Navigating through Washington may be a challenge, but Friend, this is the work I believe I was meant to do. And I’m honored to have had the support of so many conservatives like you. In a few paragraphs, I’m going to ask you to continue supporting my campaign with a donation, but I wanted to share a little bit more before we get into that. I know that “Washington is broken” is a refrain you’ll hear from pretty much every politician from both political parties. But that doesn’t make it any less true. In my lifetime, Congress has gone from the greatest deliberative body in world history to a punch line for late-night comedy sketches and campaign stump speeches. Simply put — we need to get our house (the House) in order, and we need to do it now. I’m a fiscal conservative — that means I believe in a balanced budget, limited government, and lower taxes. I’m taking this mentality straight to Washington. It’s time for Washington to put partisan bickering aside, cut taxes, and hold career politicians' feet to the fire until we get this right FOR THE PEOPLE. And these aren't just empty words for me. I'm the type of person who means what she says and I get things done! That’s what I’ve done my whole life. I’ve spent my entire life breaking down barriers. And my experience is anything but typical for a “politician.” Friend, I grew up in Goose Creek, S.C. and when I was 16, I dropped out of high school and I found myself waitressing at the Waffle House soon after. But my story doesn’t end there... I learned the value of hard work and persistence and overcame these challenges to become the first female graduate of The Citadel — the military college of South Carolina. After that, I went on to raise 2 great kids (Miles and Elli) as a single mom. I started my own businesses, became a State Representative for South Carolina, and then ran against an incumbent Democrat who had every advantage. The pollsters thought I was going to lose. The media thought I was going to lose. But I didn’t let it stop me — I persevered, again, to become a part of the ceiling shattering class of GOP women in 2020. (That may be one of my proudest accomplishments to date!) I know when most people think of a Republican member of Congress, they don’t think of a former Waffle House waitress and single mom.
